My Edison acccount fixed... yay!

So I am so happy. Today I called Edison to see how the investigation and dispute of my account was going. So I know I mentioned this before but we moved to another house around the same area and when we moved we didn't have electricity for a couple of weeks. Well after given time they turned it on and then we never received a bill (which I just found out, it's actually the post office --- GGRRRR!!!  ) I had to prove to them who I was and disprove all of their disclaimers.... You know how hard tthey make it and how bad they treat you because they expect you to be wrong.... So I wrote a letter along with sending them copies of all my licenses in existance, all my school ID from senior high school to college, SSC Social security statement, 2009 - 1099, school loan paper, university school statement of account, 2005- W2, 2006-W2, Son's Birth Certificate and paternity paperwork (and I'll explain why).

To whom it may concern,

            Today, February 8, 2010, I received a “second time” notice of disconnection for the amount of $1156.80 by the day of February 10, 2010. I have only been living in this house since October 17, 2009 and there is no possible way that an electric bill of that magnitude was produced, especially since I did not have electricity until Friday October 30^th, 2009 at 9:30am.

A payment of $110 was given on February 4^th, 2010 and another scheduled payment is due of approximately $112 on February 16^th, 2010 to credit MY out due account which was given to me in payments because I have never received a bill with the exception of my deposit bill. If I had previously received a bill with the quantity which is being claimed in my name I would have began refuting those allegations in an expedite manner.

            I spoke to a representative of SCE on January 26, 2010 with my concerns about the electric bill after it had firstly been disconnected at 11:32am which was when I first noticed the alleged amount due; she mentioned a name and an address of which I have never heard of or been to. While speaking to her, she sent out an order for reconnection to assist me in fixing these misconceptions which I better not be charged for since it is your mistake. If the investigation which was done on October 27, 2009 through October 29, 2009 was to assume an affiliation with a person of the same last name then the investigation was a flawed investigation. And if the investigation was inconclusive why was I not informed when the investigation lady called at 4:34pm to announce the electricity was going to be turned on, on Friday, October 30, 2009. As far as I am concerned they also never reach communication with the landlords. Which was the purpose of sending a copy of my social security number and license if assumptions were going to be made anyways?

Furthermore, I do not know any person by/ have any affiliation with the name of R***** Flores, Jr. It is discriminatory to assume that two people with the same last names could be of same ethnic background or have some sort of familiarity or relativity without further investigation. I want his charges taken out of my bill from whatever Colton address he has resided from/in. I am asking that you do not attach any other person’s bill without consent /prove of affiliation of what so ever purpose you may have to collect from any given person.

Lastly, I am request another investigation done under my name of Reyna Edith Flores. You received all my information on October 27, 2009 at 1:53pm by fax so this time I will sent out multiple documents to further the aide in your investigation. If it’s trying to find out the addresses in which I have lived in my life I will give you a small history which will help your investigate further. In  the early ages,  I was born in Los Angeles and lived in Whittier, Ca, by the age of 3 or 4 moved to *** ½ E. Main St., *** *******, Ca 9****, on June 22, 1998 my parents and siblings moved to Fontana: ***** Monterra Dr., *******, Ca 9****. After High School and during my college years I also resided on University of Redlands campus during the years of September 2003 through December 2005(with exceptions of summer months and winter month which I live with my parents) and Graduated May of 2007. The Monterra house was lost and we moved to the house of ***** Old Field Ave., *******, Ca then the owners were looking to selling their property so I moved and now am residing in ***** Figwood Dr., *******, Ca 9****.

I will send a copy of my senior year in high school of which is Kaiser High School in ******* and all four years of my college years Identification Cards, I will also sent out all the licenses I have held from the age of 16 (which is three), I will send a copy of my son’s birth certificate and a copy of my son’s father’s Declaration of Paternity which is to say that if I were to have an affiliation with someone in my past it would be my son’s father, A***** H**** S******,Jr.,  but we were never married/lived in/share a household and  he is now married.

I need those charges taken out of my bill, I need bills sent or delivered to my address here, and I need the investigation done to prove all which has been stated in this letter. I expect a call ASAP to converse what has been said. This is very important to me and very important for your records of Southern California Edition to make sure the investigation department is doing an adequate investigation of background and no mistakes like these are done to anyone that is to say: have a person be stuck with and/or expected to pay for a bill which they have nothing to do with them.

This was my letter and I guess it  was affective; the changes were taken out of my account. I called today to see how it was going because I never received a call with an update and the lady congratulated me for a job well done and fixing my account (which shouldn't have happened) and then I asked why my bills were being sent another address and she said it was the Post-Office.... GRRR!!!! which suck because we're moving out of here by next monday. The god thing is that my account is clean and I already scheduled for it to be closed by March 2...
